The construction of our lab started in 2001. Everything started when we had to bring a large table in our 3rd floor lab. CLICK HERE for information on our beginnings.

Now that the lab is ready , we have our laser system which includes a diode pump Ti-Sapphire, a REGEN amplifier (pumped by Evolution) providing output pulses centered at 790nm, with ~48 fs FWHM and ~900 mJoules /pulse. The output of the amplifier is split in two, and used to pump 2 tunable OPAs. With the use of sum and difference frequency, we can independently tune over the 300 nm- 10 micron range.
